Trial date not set for Cole Co. man accused of raping child

A Cole County man accused of raping a child still does not have a trial date.

Joe Stevens was in court Wednesday on charges of statutory rape and domestic assault.

Stevens was arrested in February 2013 after Jefferson City Police said he repeatedly punched a woman and burned her with cigarettes before raping a girl under the age of 14.
