Plane crashes at the Lake of the Ozarks

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating after a plane crashed at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Troopers got a call just after 12:30 p.m. that the plane landed near Public Beach #2 in Osage Beach.

There were three people aboard the plane, and all were able to get out.

The three were flying in a 1976 Beechcraft B19.

Two people were taken to Lake Regional Hospital with minor to moderate injuries.

The plane took off from the Grand Glaize Airport and was headed to Creve Coeur.

The FAA will investigate the cause of the crash.
