Man found in Hinkson Creek bottoms identified
University of Missouri Police have identified a man found dead in Columbia Tuesday morning.
Officers found the body of a 27-year-old Cyle Christopher Crowleyshortly before 10:00 Tuesday morning in the Hinkson Creek bottoms east of Providence Road in Columbia.
Someone noticed Crowley’s body while walking near the creek, and found him lying in a tributary.
Crowley was not an MU student.
An autopsy was performed Wednesday morning, and a toxicology exam is expected in the future.
Officers said there is no indication of foul play at this time.
