Changing weather starts the week

Monday will be dry and cold with temperatures reaching the mid 30s. A wintry mix of sleet and possibly freezing rain will move in Monday night ahead of a warm front. Late Monday night into Tuesday the warm front will lift into Missouri, causing temperatures to rise to near 40 degrees by Tuesday morning. This rise in temperatures will bring a changeover into all rain for Tuesday.

Rain will continue through Tuesday with highs pushing near 50. Then a cold front will follow behind the warm front Tuesday night. As temperatures fall Tuesday night some light snow could fall.

We’ll be dry again by Wednesday afternoon, with colder air moving in for Wednesday and Thursday. Dry weather will continue for the end of the week with temperatures warming back into the 40s by next weekend.
