Arctic blast and snow Wednesday
Another arctic cold front will move through early in the day Wednesday, bringing temperatures down into the teens Wednesday night. A wave of low pressure moving through from the northwest will bring enough moisture to produce light snow from Wednesday evening through the night, ending by early Thursday morning.
Snow is expected to spread from north to south through Wednesday evening with light accumulation overnight as snow becomes more steady. Lower amounts of an inch or less are expected south of I-70 while areas north will see 1-2 inches with pockets of 3 possible in northwestern Missouri. Roads could become slick overnight Wednesday and for the morning commute Thursday.
