Boonville man arrested for decade of sex crimes against multiple victims

A Boonville man was arrested Thursday after a decade-long investigation into sex crimes against multiple victims.

50-year-old Raymond Stevens was arrested on an outstanding warrant by the Boonville Police and Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Stevens was arrested on 18 counts, including 15 counts of 2nd degree statutory sodomy, two counts of first degree attempted statutory sodomy, attempted deviant sexual intercourse with someone under 14 years old, and one count of first degree statutory sodomy; deviate sexual assault with another person under 14.

Stevens’ bond has been set at $300,000.
