Mid-Missouri road crews working through the night and Tuesday morning
Road crews in Columbia continued to clear roads Tuesday morning.
Thirty trucks are out focusing on residential streets.
As of 7 a.m. many residential streets are still covered with snow.
Columbia Public Works officials are warning people about refreezing.
ABC 17 News crews out on the roads Tuesday morning saw a lot of refreezing on previously plowed areas such as sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots.
COMO Connect, Para-Transit, and Tiger Line will all operate on normal schedules Tuesday.
Columbia Regional Airport is open and remained open throughout the winter storm.
Solid Waste collections (trash and recycling) operated on Monday and is on schedule for the remainder of the week.
Larry Benz with Jefferson City Public Works told ABC 17 News road crews cleared all of the roads in Jefferson City including residential streets on Monday night.
They will have trucks back out on the roads putting more salt down starting Tuesday morning at 7 a.m.
Highways in Mid-Missouri are all cleared for the morning commute.
