Sunday- Monday Snow Update
A storm system will spread snow over Mid-Missouri from late afternoon Sunday through the evening. Snow will become steady during the evening and continue overnight, tapering off to near I-70 by daybreak and south through Monday morning.
Pacific moisture feeding into the storm, along with the cold air in place will result in higher snow amounts of 6-8″ south of I-70 with lower amounts north. Travel will become difficult Sunday night south as snow rates increase. Roads will be slick due to below freezing temperatures on roads.
