Man recovering following Jefferson City crash

A man is still in the hospital after an early Monday morning crash in Jefferson City.

The crash happened at around 12:30 a.m. on Highway 50 at the tri-level.

Police said the driver Lucio Cabrales went straight into a curve, hitting the a concrete bridge support head-on.

He was taken to University Hospital in Columbia with critical injuries.
