Dry with big temperature changes through the weekend
Our weather through Sunday will stay dry but temperatures will continue to change quickly from day to day. The weather pattern this week is dry due to the northwesterly winds aloft carrying in waves of low pressure from the northwest which will hold little moisture before making it to Mid-Missouri.
These waves will also bring cold air occasionally with brief warm ups in between. The next wave moves to our north early Wednesday, sending a cold front through which will cause temperatures to fall into the teens Wednesday night and only rise into the 20s Thursday.
Winds will shift to the south Friday and temperatures will rise to near 40 before another cold front moves through late in the day bringing another round of frigid air for the weekend.
