Teen arrested in 2013 robbery in prison again for allegedly stealing from Walmart

An 18-year-old Columbia man arrested for a 2013 robbery is back behind bars.

Dyran Hill was taken into custody Thursday for stealing from the Walmart on Grindstone.

Hill just appeared in court Friday on the new charges.

Hill was also arrested in August 2013 when a school resource officer recognized Hill from the bank surveillance photo and alerted authorities.

Hill told police he took cash from the Landmark Bank on Garth in order to pay for marijuana.

Hill claims he stashed the money inside an abandoned house, which police never found.

He was sentenced to five years probation for the hold-up.
