Columbia man in jail after leading police on chase
A Columbia man is in the Boone County Jail Friday after police said he ran from officers.
Columbia Police said they went to pull over 27-year-old Steven Young’s car after he failed to stop at a stop sign near Garth and Ash streets.
Young apparently kept driving until eventually stopping the car and taking off running at the Break Time near Stadium and Ash.
Officers caught up to Young and arrested him, finding a gun and marijuana on him.
