Sedalia teen arrested for having marijuana, synthetic drugs

A 17-year-old Sedalia teen was arrested Thursday after Sedalia Police searched a home at 1505 S. Barrett Avenue.

Officers eventually forced their way into the house and detained three people without incident after finding high-grade marijuana, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia, and drug packaging materials.

Police said they had enough evidence to determine one of the people in the home was selling pot and pills.

17-year-old Kayden Rasmussen was arrested for distribution, delivery, and possession of synthetic drugs, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful transaction with a child.

Rasmussen is currently in the Pettis County Jail.
