New report reveals details in death of Lt. Bruce Britt

A reportfrom the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) into the death investigation of Columbia firefighter Lt. Bruce Britt was released Tuesday afternoon.

Britt was killed on Feb. 22, 2014, when he was attempting to evacuate the University Village Apartment complex after a reported roof collapse.

Britt died when a balcony collapsed beneath him and he fell to the ground below.
