Hallsville man convicted of sexual assault on a child

A Hallsville man was convicted Wednesday on two counts of statutory sodomy.

A jury recommended 36-year-old Jeremy Jennings receive ten years in prison on each count.

Jennings’ victim was 4 years old when the incidents happened in 2013.

A judge has scheduled a March 16 sentencing date.
