Columbia Catholic school officials announce changes

Columbia Catholic school officials Tuesday announced an executive committee to make some major changes.

The Bishop of the Diocese of Jefferson City, John Gaydos, said the committee will take on several projects, including establishing a Catholic preschool in Columbia and relocating some students at Our Lady of Lourdes Interparish School.

Gaydos hopes to have these changes made over the next few years.

“The diocese and the three parishes will be appointed and will work with Sister Kate to bring this project to completion by August 2017,” said Gaydos.

The hope at Our Lady of Lourdes is to eliminate the 8 mobile trailers currently being used to extra space on campus.
