Attorney General negotiates settlement with CoMO Entertainment owner
Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster announced Monday a settlement with CoMO Entertainment owner Ben Bradley.
ABC 17 News has reported extensively on Bradley, and spoke with people he owes or owed money.
Most recently, Bradley missed a court appearance in Boone County, and threatened an ABC 17 News reporter.
Koster said Bradley took money upfront and for parties and transportation that he failed to provide.
ABC 17 News talked to multiple brides who paid for party buses that never showed on their wedding day.
In a news release Monday, Koster said Columbia Party Bus contracted with at least 11 customers to provide transportation they never received.
CoMO Entertainment apparently worked with at least one customer to rent space in Whiskey Wild Saloon in Columbia, then canceled the event.
None of these twelve people got refunds.
Koster negotiated a settlement for the twelve to share a total of $6,852.50 in restitution.
The Attorney General’s Office already has that money ready to distribute to those people affected.
According to the release, Bradley and his associates agreed to not accept payment for services until they’re actually delivered.
Koster said if others have contracted with Columbia Party Bus, CoMO Entertainment, or Ben Bradley and did not received services promised, they should contact the AG’s Consumer Protection Hotline at 800-392-822 or file a complaint at ago.mo.gov.
