One suspect detained in Saturday car chase in Columbia

One of three suspects was detained following a car chase in central Columbia Saturday.

Police said a second suspect was still on the run Sunday.

On Saturday evening, a search was underway for three suspects following a car chase in central Columbia.

Police said two men and a woman led them on a pursuit before crashing their car into a gate of Stephens Stables.

The three then took off on foot.

A perimeter was set up in the area and a K-9 unit was brought in to start a track.

The search was then moved to a nearby area.

As of Saturday night, no one was in custody.
