One killed in Moniteau Co. crash

One person is dead and another injured after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 50 in Moniteau County Friday morning.

The crash happened on westbound Highway 50 at California Drive and Jacket Factory Road.

45-year-old Claude Jones of Holts Summit was killed after failing to yield to 65-year-old Arlyn Hartsock of Florence, who was driving a 1995Kenworth Conventional. Jones was struck at an angle on westbound highway 50.

Jones was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
