Two Columbia men indicted for summer bank robbery

A federal grand jury in St. Louis this morning indicted two Mid-Missouri men for their role in a bank robbery in Moberly last summer.

Clarence Lamont Williams, 25, and Daniel Mark Rudroff, 24, both of Columbia were charged in the August 22 crime that sparked a daylong manhunt for the pair.

Police say Williams and Rudroff robbed the Bank Midwest on Morley near downtown on the morning of the 22nd.

The two allegedly fired shots at witnesses who were following them after the robbery.

Police searched a farm field in southern Randolph County for the two after they fled south on U.S. 63.

Federal charges for bank robbery carry a maximum of 20 years in prison.
