Cooler weather returns this week

High temperatures through the weekend were in the mid to upper 50s, which is well above our average of 38 for this time in January. This will continue on Monday when highs will reach into the upper 50s to near 60. Then Monday night a cold front will move into Missouri.

The cold front will exit Missouri Tuesday morning, but temperatures will still be mild Tuesday afternoon as highs push into the upper 40s to near 50. Cooler air will settle in for Wednesday and Thursday though with temperatures in the low 40s both days. By next weekend temperatures will moderate as highs stay in the low to mid 40s Friday and Saturday.
