Unseasonable start this week

Temperatures will be warm through the holiday. On Sunday temperatures will warm into the mid 50s once again, and on Monday highs will push into the upper 50s to near 60.

Then Monday night into Tuesday morning a cold front will move through Missouri. Mid-Missouri will stay dry, only picking up a few extra clouds on Tuesday. High temperatures will still warm into the low 40s Tuesday afternoon. Cooler air will settle in for the end of the week though. By Wednesday temperatures will only warm into the low 40s.

The end of the week will bring high temperatures in the upper 30s and low 40s, which is closer to Columbia’s average high for this time in January of 38 degrees.
