Two arrested in Pettis Co. for drugs, children were home

Two people were arrested Monday after Sedalia Police and the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department served a warrant related to an armed robbery at a hotel last month.

Deputies found 5 adults and two toddlers inside the home at 2819 Southgate Loop.

One man got out through the back door, but was arrested a short time later.

Deputies were looking for items used in the robbery and found meth as well as drug paraphernalia. The deputies saw the drug-related items were near and accessible to the children.

45-year-old Donna Hall and 31-year-old Megan Strauch were arrested for possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, 1st degree child endangerment, and unlawful transaction with a child.

Both Hall and Strauch were placed on a 24-hour hold at the Pettis Co. Jail on $7,500 cash bond.
