Brian Adkison in court for charges in northwest Missouri
A Columbia rape suspect was back in court Tuesday on separate charges in northwest Missouri.
Brian Adkison was on trial for rape and sexual assault charges last week in Boone County, but the case ended in a mistrial.
Adkison appeared before ae Caldwell County judge on kidnapping and domestic assault charges Tuesday.
Adkison is accused in the 2013 rape and kidnapping of his ex-girlfriend.
He also took authorities on a weeks-long manhunt after the crime.
The rape and sexual assault charges in Boone County are still pending.
