Another bitterly cold start to the day Thursday

Temperatures will drop below zero by Thursday morning as southerly winds increase, producing dangerously cold wind chills of 10 to 18 below zero early Thursday. Although it will be warmer Thursday afternoon, gusty winds will still make it feel bitterly cold under partly cloudy skies. Wind chill readings in the afternoon will reach into the single digits to lower teens as winds gust to near 30 mph.
