Trial set for man accused of raping, kidnapping ex-girlfriend
A trial is set to begin next month for a Missouri man accused of kidnapping and raping his ex-girlfriend in Columbia.
Brian Adkison pleaded not guilty this week to new charges from a grand jury.
His three day trial is now scheduled to start January 7.
Adkison is accused of leading law enforcement on a manhunt last year around the Lake of the Ozarks.
Then, he broke out of jail in northwest Missouri.
Ohio investigators found him three weeks later hiding out in a nursing home.
