Mizzou wins ninth straight home game vs. UT-Martin 74-65

Columbia, Mo. – Mizzou Women’s Basketball improved to 10-2 on the season with Monday’s 74-65 win over UT Martin.

Senor Morgan Eye finished tonight’s win with 21 points, while sophomore Jordan Frericks earned her fourth double-double of the season with 11 points and 12 rebound.

“I’m just really proud of our players. They played with great toughness, great resiliency. I don’t think I coached a really good game tonight . I wasn’t prepared for their 1-3-1. I hadn’t seen it a lot on film this season,” head coach Robin Pingeton said.

I didn’t have our girls properly prepared for that. I just think as the game went on, our girls got a better feel of different passing angles, different opportunities we had to take advantage of, offensively.”

Freshman Bri Porter went down with a knee injury and missed the rest of the game. Porter will have an MRI, but no details were released on her injuries.
