Rain returns Monday

After a cloudy and mild weekend a cold front will approach Missouri Sunday evening. Showers will develop ahead of the front and begin to move into Mid-Missouri around midnight. Rain and a few isolated thunderstorms will persist into Monday morning and through the day.

Temperatures will still reach the mid 50s Monday afternoon. Rain will taper off Monday evening, leaving temperatures much cooler Monday night. Temperatures Monday night will fall into the mid 30s then only warm to near 40 Tuesday.

Rainfall amounts of .25″-.75″ can be expected across Mid-Missouri.
