Columbia police find evidence of shots fired at Garth and Sondra Ave.

Columbia police responded to multiple calls for shots fired at Garth and Sondra Avenues Tuesday night.

Police on the scene told ABC 17 News they believe it started with a fight between three to five people before shots were fired.

Officers found one bullet at the scene and told ABC 17 News someone may be injured, but that they haven’t heard anything from local hospitals as of Tuesday night.

Officers went door to door and talked with residents in the area to see if they saw or heard anything.

Columbia police received varying vehicle descriptions from people in the area, but nothing concrete.

There is no suspect information at this time.
