Immaculate Conception Church feeds 350 people

People who signed up earlier this month to get a hot meal on Thanksgiving could either come to Immaculate Conception to eat or they could have it delivered to them.

Those who wanted to help could either bring food in, cook or both.

Cindy Schnieders, the woman who started this 5 years ago, said anything helps and it’s all for good.

She said she started doing this because she couldn’t stand the thought of someone not having food on Thanksgiving.

People from different parishes came in starting at 5 in the morning and have been prepping for over a month for this day.

A group of IC students, ages 11 to 14, explained why they wanted to help.

“We should take what we have and not just be greedy with it, but share it with everybody because that’s the reason God gives you can share it with everybody else.”
