Columbia Police looking for suspect in bank robbery

Columbia Police are looking for a man suspected of robbing a bank Thursday afternoon.

Police were called to Central Bank of Missouri at 2500 Rangeline Street just after 1:00 p.m.

A man came into the bank and demanded money from the teller. He left the bank on a bike heading south on Rangeline with an unknown amount of money.

No one was injured, but the suspect implied that he had a gun. The teller didn’t see a gun during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white man in his middle to late 20s, approximately 5’10” and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a ball cap, sunglasses, and a dark colored jacket.
