5 suspects still sought in major Boone Co. crime round-up

The U.S. Western District of Missouri of Missouri has charged 27 people involved in cocaine distribution, illegal firearms, and prostitution Thursday. 22 of those people are in custody, while five people are still on the run.

Those five are 53-year-old Ronnie Gillette, 31-year-old Travis Dennis, 28-year-old Devon Hopkins, 34-year-old Marlon Smith, and 27-year-old Ryan Kee.

Gillette and Kee are charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent a controlled substance and using a communications facility to facilitate a drug trafficking conspiracy.

Dennis and Hopkins were charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance, and possession of crack cocaine.

Smith is charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent controlled substances.
