Police investigating armed robbery at north Columbia gas station

Columbia police are investigating after an armed robbery at a gas station in north Columbia Saturday night.

Police were called to the Break Time on Smiley Lane off Rangeline just before 10 p.m.

Officers said a white man came into the gas station, indicated he had a gun and demanded money from the two clerks.

The suspect then took off with cash. The gun was never seen.

Police said he was last seen on foot westbound of the gas station.

Officers said no one was injured.

The suspect is described as a white mane wearing glasses, approximately 5’8″, medium build and wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with dark colored pants.
