Vote 2014 results: District 44 State Representative

State Representative Caleb Rowden (R) won the District 44 seat over challenger Tom Pauley (D), in another race also fueled by a lot of outside funding.

Rowden was elected for his second term in the Missouri House, with 63 percent of the votes. His opponent only got 37 percent.

Both Rowden and Pauley grew up in Boone County and graduated from MU.

One key issue in the race was education. Rowden said he tried to put a big focus on implementing technology in the classroom and fully funding the state education formula.
