Three arrested for drugs in Jefferson City
Three people were arrested last Thursday and Friday on multiple charges after the Jefferson City Police SWAT team and MUSTANG Drug Task Force searched two homes.
On Thursday, police searched a home in the 300 block of Buchanan Street. Detectives found crack cocaine, digital scales, packaging materials, ammunition, and a 9mm handgun.
On Friday, the JCPD Community Action Team and MUSTANG Drug Task Force searched a home in the 200 block of North Ventura Drive. They found marijuana, digital scales, packaging materials, ammunition, and a stolen 0.38 caliber handgun.
28-year-old Jordon White was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of crack cocaine, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
24-year-old D’Angelo Williams was charged for being a parole absconder in Cole County.
44-year-old Leroy Childs was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both of the searches are a part of an ongoing investigation.
