Multiple street repairs will cause closures, lane shifts in Columbia

Multiple street repairs across Columbia will cause closures and lane shifts throughout the week.

Beginning Monday at 7 a.m., Columbia Public Works will start street repairs on West Broadway between East Parkway and Stadium Boulevard.

Flaggers will control various lane closures. The project is set to be completed Tuesday afternoon at 3:30.

Also beginning on Monday at 7 a.m., street repairs on East Walnut Street between Williams Street and Ann Street means a street closure on East Walnut Street until the project is completed on Friday, October 31 at 4 p.m., weather permitting.

And construction in the 500 block of Southampton will cause a lane shift of the west bound lane of East Southampton Drive. The shift will take place between Providence Road and State Farm Parkway. The project is set to be completed Saturday, November 8 by 3 p.m.

Beginning Wednesday morning at seven, street repairs on Rangeline between Wilkes Boulevard and Rogers Street will close the road. The project is set to be finished Thursday afternoon at 3:30.

There will be no through traffic between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on those two days.
