Victoria’s Bridal to close at the end of October

After learning Victoria’s Bridal in Jefferson City would be closing, several customers of the shop are asking when and where they can pick up their dresses.

Laura Roark ordered her dress in August and said she was informed the store would be closing from watching ABC 17 News.

After she heard, she called the store and was told little information about the stores closing.

The next day, she received a text message saying she could pick up her dress at the end of October, when the store will allegedly be closing its doors for good in the Capitol City.

Roark said she and her friends are getting their dresses from their for their wedding day.

Now, she isn’t sure where she will get her alterations along with the finishing touches of her dress.

“I have no idea. I mean I was planning on doing all my alterations there, but now I don’t know because there is no other bridal shop here in Jeff, ” said Roark.

Roark also has questions regarding her dress and how it would be delivered to her.

“I just would like some clarification you know, if they recommend anybody or details, if my dress isn’t in- will they ship it to me??” Roark said.

Ann Mutternich owns Victoria’s Bridal and said she is taking each bride on a case by case basis.

As far as delivering the gowns, she is going to talk to each customer about the most convenient way to deliver, whether it be to their home or office.

She explained how she is getting in touch with her brides.

“So an answering service is the best way to go about doing that because then I have an email and I’ve created a paper trail of sorts. That way i can mark it off and know I’ve spoken with her or I’ve reached out to her, ” said Mutternich.

She also said she has enjoyed her business in Jefferson City and will do anything she can to help her customers.
