Two arrested for drugs, home deemed uninhabitable

Two people were arrested following a SWAT team search warrant in Jefferson City.

The Jefferson City SWAT searched a home at 1000 Monroe Street, where they believed drugs were being held and sold.

22-year-old Jessica Frazier and 24-year-old Chad Davis were charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Davis was also charged with distribution of a controlled substance.

Both Davis and Frazier are being held in the Cole Co. Jail.

The Jefferson City Planning and Protective Services Department responded and deemed the home to be uninhabitable due to the living conditions.

Captain Doug Shoemaker with JCPD said the building was in a state of disrepair and no trash service was present. There were multiple hazardous code violations at the rental property.
