Man drowns during canoe trip at Lake of the Ozarks
A man from Benton County drowned while on a canoe trip at the Lake of the Ozarks. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Daniel Wedlock left for the trip on Monday, October 6, but didn’t come back.
Troopers found the canoe unoccupied later that day. Wedlock’s body was found two days later. There are no details at this point about what may have led to Wedlock’s drowning.
