Mexico woman charged for selling meth after attempting to shoplift

A Mexico woman was arrested for drugs Tuesday morning after allegedly attempting to shoplift at Family Dollar in Fulton.

40-year-old Teresa Louise Lopez is charged distribution of methamphetamine after police found several grams of the drug, scales, and packaging materials. Her bond was set at $25,000.

Lopez also had two warrants out of Audrain County for 2nd degree burglary and a traffic offense with a cash bond of $6,500.

Lopez is currently in the Callaway County Jail.
