Holts Summit house fire investigated as arson

A house fire in Holts Summit is now being investigated as arson.

Tuesday night crews were called out to the 600 block of South Summit Drive when someone saw flames coming from a window.

Holts Summit Fire Protection District was assisted by New Bloomfield Fire Protection District and got the fire under control within 10 minutes.

Investigators are estimating the damage at $30,000, but the cause is still under investigation.
