MU student reports sexual assault on campus
A University of Missouri student claims she was sexually assaulted on the Columbia campus.
Tuesday night the MU Police Department released information about a Friday incident.
The student says between midnight and 1 a.m. a man she did not know attacked her near the benches between Jesse Hall and Hill Hall. The only suspect description available at this time is a man, taller than 5 feet 8 inches. He was wearing all black clothing.
The university’s Title IX office reported the incident to MUPD. The victim has chosen to not talk with police at this time.
