Man arrested after allegedly holding woman at knifepoint in Fulton
A man is in jail after allegedly holding a woman at knifepoint at the Underground Bar on East Fifth Street in Fulton Saturday morning.
Police said Matthew James Hamilton brandished a knife and began making threats toward the woman just after midnight.
Hamilton was arrested and charged with armed criminal action, second degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and felonious restraint.
He is being held in the Callaway County Jail on a $23,500 bond.
