Trails damaged by flood waters
Columbia Parks and Recreation have been working hard to repair Mid-Missouri trails following heavy, flooding rain Monday night.
Damage was done to several trails including the MKT trail, Bear Creek Trail, and Hinkson Creek Trail.
As of Thursday, all of the trails were open. Additional repairs will continue to be made.
Crews advise trail users to be cautious of staff and machinery as they’ll be on the trail system cleaning up for the next few weeks.
