Animal shelter gets help after storm damage

A local, no-kill animal shelter got help cleaning up Saturday after last month’s storm.

Winds ripped off some of the roof from the Second Chance Shelter and destroyed almost all of their dog food.

Crews from Home Depot came in on Saturday to help clean up debris before the new roof is installed on Monday.

All of the animals have been temporarily placed in foster homes until the new roof is in place.

They’ll be hosting a raffle next weekend to raise money for the efforts. They’re also getting an autographed Rams jersey from the team’s owner to auction off! For more information, click here: http://www.columbia2ndchance.org/flyers/RoofTriviaFlyer.pdf
