Mexico murder suspect appears in court
An Audrain County murder suspect appeared in court Friday afternoon.
34-year-old Ricky Harding of Mexico is charged with second degree murder, armed criminal action, domestic assault, and 4 counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Harding is the suspect in the death of Summer Hickman in the 15000 block of Audrain Road 923.
Audrain County Prosecutor Jacob Shellabarger told ABC 17 News Harding made a motion of change of housing, stating that he wanted to be jailed somewhere besides Audrain County.
The judge denied Harding’s request, and scheduled Harding’s preliminary hearing for September 22 in Audrain County.
