Two arrested for stealing SUV from St. James
Two people were arrested Wednesday night for stealing an SUV from the St. James area.
Osage Beach Police responded to a call for suspicious activity late Wednesday night in the Osage Beach Walmart parking lot. Police saw two men looking into parked cars.
An officer caught the men standing next to a Chevy Trailblazer, and one suspect claimed to own the vehicle. The officer checked the registration and determined the SUV was stolen.
Both 25-year-old men from Rolla were taken to the Camden County Jail for tampering with a motor vehicle.
