Police suspend search at landfill for homicide victim

Jefferson City Police have discontinued an investigation at the Allied Waste landfill for Christopher Cray.

Cray was last seen on May 20th.

Evidence from that search has been sent in for forensic evaluation. Investigators have shifted their efforts to other leads uncovered through interviews and other sources.

Jefferson City Police said the investigation will continue until it’s complete.
