Missing woman found alive in Camden Co.
A woman who walked away from her home Sunday night was just recovered alive west of Camdenton.
Authorities say Kathleen Rogers, 53, wandered into the woods behind her home off Route A. They had to suspend the search several hours later at 3 in the morning because of rough terrain and poor visibility.
But on Tuesday the Camden County Sheriff’s department confirmed another person found Rogers west of the original search area.
Rogers was in a dense forest with no road access. It took emergency responders around two hours to rescue her. She was dehydrated but responsive. She went to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
