Man grabs cash box from local produce stand

ABC 17 News confirmed a man escaped Monday around 11:40 a.m. after grabbing a cash box from a local produce stand in Columbia.

Police went to the parking lot of Teppanyaki Grill, near the Business Loop and I-70 Drive Southwest.

A worker at the stand described the suspect as a black man in his 20s wearing a green shirt and a tattoo on the right side of his neck.
